Privacy Policy for the PATROLCONTROL and PATROLPORTAL mobile applications

This Privacy Policy describes how the PATROLCONTROL and PATROLPORTAL applications (the “Application”) collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using the App, you consent to the processing of data in accordance with this policy.

The app may collect or require access to the following data and device features:

  • Location (GPS/approximate/precise location): to provide location-based services (e.g., navigation, motion tracking, device location, workers).
  • Use of location data: Our PATROLCONTROL app uses your device’s location data (GPS) to track the route of your rounds and record the location of all events. This data is sent to the server. The user can deny access to the location in the device settings, but some features of the app may not work.
  • Photos and multimedia files: for the ability to upload or save photos, videos and audio recordings created in the Application.
  • Camera and microphone: to take photos, videos and audio recordings directly in the App.
  • Contacts: For features that require you to select or share contacts.
  • Phone calls (blocking/identification): for features that allow you to block calls or identify callers.
  • Device activity and sensors (e.g., fall detection): to provide safety features or provide usage statistics.
  • Files stored on the device: to store and read content created by the App.
  •  NFC (Near Field Communication): to read NFC tags or communicate with compatible devices.

2. How we use the data

We use your data exclusively for purposes related to the provided functions of the App, for example:

  • Enabling the main functionality of the Application
  • Improving quality and stability (e.g. application crash detection)
  • User safety (e.g. device drop detection)
  • Providing content and personalized features
  • Communicate with other users through contacts or multimedia
  • Technical analysis and diagnostics

3. Data sharing

We do not share your data with any third parties without your consent, unless sharing is required by law or unless it is necessary to provide basic services of the App (e.g. cloud storage for multimedia files).

The user has the option to remove the granted permissions at any time in the device settings. Please note that removing some permissions may limit the functionality of the App.
